UMOVIES DMCA Policy (2026.1)

UMOVIES respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. This policy describes our procedures under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

1. Safe Harbor Notice

UMOVIES complies with the DMCA’s safe‑harbor provisions for online service providers. When properly notified, we will respond expeditiously to remove or disable access to allegedly infringing material.

2. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

To submit a takedown notice, please include all of the following:

1. Your physical or electronic signature.

2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.

3. Identification of the material to be removed or disabled and sufficient information to locate it.

4. Your contact information (address, telephone number, and email).

5. A statement that you have a good‑faith belief that the use is not authorized.

6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner.

4. Counter‑Notice

3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good‑faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.

4. Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or San Francisco, CA if outside the U.S.).

5. Repeat Infringers

We may terminate accounts of repeat infringers or users who violate our piracy policies.

6. Abuse & Misrepresentation

Submitting a false takedown or counter‑notice may result in liability for damages and legal fees.
